The Brooklyn Brewery has taken a taste of Williamsburg on the road across the good ol’ U.S. of A. with the Brooklyn Brewery MASH tour, which began in Austin, Texas during SxSW Interactive. The tour mashes together representatives from the Burg’s film, music, books, and food scenes and is showcasing them in 11 cities in all (see the full list of cities here). The MASH promotional video (above) provides an excellent 68 second, stop motion tour of Williamsburg’s northside that will leave your head spinning.
Sure, Williamsburg might be known for bearded hipsters, tattooed girls, and banjos, but the best part really is the food. Have you tried the food? Locals seem to go for the savory more than the sweet and aren’t shy about topping it off with a brunch cocktail or beer. After last weekend’s snowpocalypse, hipsters were dying to get out on the streets in Williamsburg last night for Williamsburg Fashion Weekend, food, models, rockstars, and the usual drunken mayhem.
